Mostly clear day. Took the Solarscope out to do a quick sunspot count.

Active area 1008 still visible with 2 sunspots. Compared to yesterday one of the spots appeared to be slightly bigger and darker whereas the other one appeared to be smaller and fainter. No other obvious detail was visible.

Mostly cloudy day. Very windy too. During a clear spell I took the Solarscope out to do a quick sunspot count.

New active area 1008 visible with 2 sunspots. Both spots seemed to be a good size and rather dark. However, because the Solarscope was blowing around so much in the wind it was impossible to observe any detail.
