Very unsettled day. Lots of cloud, wind and rain. Had a short clear spell between clouds so took the Solarscope out to do a quick sunspot count. |

Through the Solarscope I couldn't see any sunspots. The disc of the Sun appeared to be totally clear. There was a hint of mottling in one small area but that was it. The whole observation was quite tricky as the wind made it very hard to keep the Solarscope still. |
