New active area 966 visible with a single spot. Appear to be small, round, crisp in definition and with just a hint of penumbra.

New active area 969 visible with 2 spots. Both appeared round and both appeared to be sharing a common penumbra. One umbra was obviously bigger than the other.

Active area 969 still visible but, unlike yesterday, I could only see a single umbra. I guess this either means that the two spots I saw yesterday had merged or that today's seeing wasn't so good. The umbra did appear to be somewhat elongated.
