Active area 961 was still visible with 2 spots. The two faint spots seen previously were no longer visible but the umbra of the main spot had split in two giving two spots with a common penumbra.

New active area 963 visible with 6 spots in total. One large round spot with a visible penumbra. Three smaller spots and two very small spots in a "tail" behind the biggest one.

Active area 963 still visible, looking similar to yesterday's observation. The main difference was that I could count 7 spots instead of six, the "tail" of smaller spots appeared to have acquired an extra spot.

I also noted that the main spot looked as if it was going to split into 2 at some point.
