New active area 960 visible close to the limb of the Sun. Two dark circular spots visible with obvious penumbra and five other smaller spots also visible.

Active area 960 was still visible with 7 spots. It looked more or less the same as it did yesterday. I did notice a dark "chain" of marks, hard to really make out in the Solarscope, running amongst the spots.

Active area 960 was still visible but now with 9 spots. Other than the additional visible spots it looked more or less the same as it did yesterday. The "chain" I mentioned yesterday was also still visible.

Active area 960 was still visible with 9 spots. In the Solarscope it looked more or less the same as it did yesterday. The two biggest spots appeared very circular and had very obvious penumbra.

Active area 960 was still visible with two spots. Compared to yesterday one of the spots, the "leading" spot, had faded quite a bit and was only just visible. The other spot was still very obvious and was still showing a hint of a penumbra.

Active area 961 was still visible with just 3 spots. The biggest spot looked much the same as it did yesterday with a round umbra and a visible penumbra. Either side of it I could see two small, faint spots.
