New active area 960 visible close to the limb of the Sun. Two dark circular spots visible with obvious penumbra and five other smaller spots also visible. |

Active area 960 was still visible with 7 spots. It looked more or less the same as it did yesterday. I did notice a dark "chain" of marks, hard to really make out in the Solarscope, running amongst the spots. |

Active area 960 was still visible but now with 9 spots. Other than the additional visible spots it looked more or less the same as it did yesterday. The "chain" I mentioned yesterday was also still visible. |

Active area 960 was still visible with 9 spots. In the Solarscope it looked more or less the same as it did yesterday. The two biggest spots appeared very circular and had very obvious penumbra. |

Active area 960 was still visible with two spots. Compared to yesterday one of the spots, the "leading" spot, had faded quite a bit and was only just visible. The other spot was still very obvious and was still showing a hint of a penumbra. |

Active area 961 was still visible with just 3 spots. The biggest spot looked much the same as it did yesterday with a round umbra and a visible penumbra. Either side of it I could see two small, faint spots. |
